We will be hosting two swim meets in the evenings and the pool will be closed to the membership.
The first meet will be this Wednesday, June 25 for a B-Meet vs. Haddon Glen. The pool will close at 4:00 pm. Members can use Tavistock Hills if they wish while the pool is closed.
The second meet will be Thursday, July 3 for an A-Meet vs. Green-Fields. The poll will closing approximately 3:00 pm. Members can use Erlton if they wish while the pool is closed.
We are excited to announce that over the weekend, the Board had a Ga-Ga pit built at Wedgewood. Not sure what Ga-Ga is? It’s a game similar to dodgeball played on octagonal court. Check out the new page on the website with pictures and rules. http://www.wedgewoodswimclub.com/recreation/ga-ga/
Starting this week, from 2pm to 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays there will be Water Aerobics for adults and Activities for kids.
The lock to the tennis gate access from parking lot will be changed on July 1st. New keys can be purchased at front desk for $20.00.
If your child is attending summer tennis camp, please meet Coach Mitch at the tennis gate access from the parking lot.
Learn to Swim
The Wedgewood Learn-to-Swim Program starts this week! For children aged 3 or more, swimmers will learn basic stroke technique and swimming fundamentals in semi-private, 30 minute lessons. Three separate two-week sessions are available for $80 per session. If interested, call head coach Jim Villa on (856) 323-8255 to reserve a place, or look on our website for more information.
