Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply for membership? In order to make an application, you will want to seek out one of our bondholders who would be willing to sponsor your membership. Please note that as an applicant, you must be a resident of Haddonfield (and provide proof, e.g. a utility  bill) and the application must be filled out by your sponsor. Once the sponsor has filled in the information on your behalf, he/she will then need to find a member who would be willing to second your application. Once completed, the application is submitted by your sponsor to the club administrator who reviews, records and forwards it to the membership chairperson. You would then be added to Wedgewood’s waiting list. This link is the application –>Application for Membership

What is Evening and August Membership? While on the waiting list, families have partial membership opportunities. The Evening Membership enables your family to use Wedgewood on weekday evenings (Monday through Friday) between 5:30 and closing. The Evening Membership season runs from July 1 to July 31.  Rate is $240.75 per family. The August Membership runs from August 1st through August 31st and enables your family to use the club during all operating hours. Cost is $294.25.

Who is included in a family membership? All family members residing in your home are required to pay dues. Children 18 years of age and older can be removed from a family membership. Babysitters, nannies and caretakers can be included in a family membership and would be required to pay dues.

What are the costs to join Wedgewood?   All new family memberships must purchase an $850 bond and pay a one time initiation fee of $690.   Annual dues are $175 per adult and $110 per child.   Senior memberships annual dues are $90 per year and subject to the restrictions described in the by-laws.  The initiation fee and annual dues do not include the 6.875% NJ Sales Tax that are collected as required by law.

How do I resign my bond? Please complete the letter of resignation and mail via certified mail to  Wedgewood Swim Club, PO Box 274, Haddonfield NJ  08033  or email the form to membership at membership@wedgewoodswimclub.com with confirmed receipt by February 1st.  Refund of the bond will occur once the bond has been transferred to a new member.  Resignations received after February 1st will go into effect the following year and the member will be responsible for paying dues for the current year.
